You spend a great deal of time in the bathroom getting ready for the day and ending your night, and so does the rest of your family. 1. Install A Counter Over the Commode
In a small bathroom, you're limited in the amount of space you have to install counters and shelving. To maximize wall space for bathroom decor or storage, place the shelving or countertop over the top of the toilet. Consider sleek cabinets with glass doors for a sophisticated look.
2. Choosing A Vanity
When selecting a vanity, choose one with a shelf underneath. You can use the shelf to store towels, soap, or any other toiletries that would take up space in another location. Although a floating vanity doesn't do much for storage, it does make the room look larger due to the extra space in between the vanity and the sink.
3. Choosing A Sink
Opt for a version without a faucet on it already. Find a faucet that mounts to the wall instead. You'll save yourself a few inches of space by not having it attached to the sink.

A double vanity is usually only found in a master bath, so we recommend purchasing a rounded vanity or a corner model to make the most of your other bathrooms.
5. Selecting A Shower/Tub
If you are looking for a seated tub or walk-in tub, you may want to find one with a thin shape. They come in a variety of shapes, so you'll be able to find one that will maximize space. In particular, corner tubs or freestanding tubs save space. Make sure you take accurate measurements before making a final decision!
6. Wall Mount the Sink
Wall mount the sink to save space underneath. This will maximize your floor space, show off more of the tile floors, and give the illusion of a larger room overall. Alternatively, you could always install a sleek cabinet or more shelving underneath the sink if extra storage space is a priority for you.
7. Lather in Luxury with A Rain Shower Head
Small upgrades make a big difference! For example, you can revitalize your shower routine with rain shower heads. With wall-mounted and ceiling-mounted options and a wider surface area than a traditional shower head, these are an affordable way to add more luxury and relaxation to even the smallest bathrooms.
